@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud I believe the fact that he could not be the No. 1 for his country cost him the award

@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud Because the World Cup screwed everything up and shouldn't be counted in voting. The vote should happen after the Champions League final

@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud Spain could’ve started any one of their 3 outstanding keepers and won the World Cup. Simon hardly faced a shot lm the tournament.

@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud He wasn’t the best keeper in the Champions League or in his own league, so how the fuck can he be the best keeper in the world 💀

Come on guys Davida Raya is more than 6 times better than Unai Simón. Please I had to copy "Unai Simón" , because I would have copied the Spanish Goalkeeper because that player is unknown! This was during the league phase (also called the league stage) of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League. Unai Simón: 8 matches – 14 goals conceded David Raya: 7 matches – 2 goals conceded David Raya (Arsenal) – 2025/26 club season Premier League: 19 clean sheets Champions League: 9 clean sheets Domestic cups: 0 Total club: 28 clean sheets Unai Simón (Athletic Club) – 2025/26 club season La Liga: 6 clean sheets Champions League: 2 clean sheets Domestic cups: 0 Total club: 8 clean sheets That’s why I think the Ballon d’Or has been, for decades, an award that most of the time doesn’t match the best players.

2025/26 Champions League – Goalkeepers by clean sheets (highest to lowest): David Raya (Arsenal) – 9 Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham) – 6 Alisson (Liverpool) – 4 Nick Pope (Newcastle) – 4 Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) – 4 Yann Sommer (Inter) – 4 Matvey Safonov (PSG) – 4 Several goalkeepers with 3 (including Donnarumma, Carnesecchi, etc.) … Unai Simón (Athletic Club) – 2 Raya finished clearly top of the list with 9 clean sheets in the competition.

@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud This award doesn’t have standard standards, they give the award based on choice, if World Cup is the criteria why is Rodri not in the top 3 since he won player of the tournament, this is crazy

@CBSSportsGolazo @JOYPAULIAN @MikeLahoud That's why awards ceremonies are mostly ridiculous charades... Because why haven't Kane & Lewandowski never won the Ballon d'Or till now? This award is just biased
