@WHR The real upset isn't Going to Sky holding on. It's Yutaka Take winning his first Kikuka Sho at 19 on Super Creek in 1988 and his 6th at 57. Most leagues retire you at 35. Japanese racing lets the final boss keep spoiling Triple Crowns, twice in one year.

@WHR Yutaka Take, 57 years young and still landing Classics 👏 Going To Sky dug in like a proper stayer when it mattered, and giving Contrail his first G1 as a sire makes it even sweeter. What a Kikuka Sho.
