@ilydarth If only we preserved all parts of the state like we did Big Bend
Özgün@ilydarth If only we preserved all parts of the state like we did Big Bend
Özgün@ilydarth Hi Big Bend I miss you
Özgün@ilydarth and its so sad the people in power want to destroy all this
Özgün@fullmetalfroge yep it’s devastating 🥲 bulldozing over fragile ecosystems, destroying rare plant species, blocking wildlife migration and access to water, now el*n m*sk is colonizing boca chica... they will never be satisfied
Özgün@ilydarth ive watched whats left of the beautiful praries dfw was built on just gradually get replaced by toll roads and ugly useless subdivisions and warehouses over the years. every summer is hotter than the last and we dont have the infrastructure to handle all these people
Özgün@fullmetalfroge i went to dfw a few weeks ago for a concert and it is so depressing driving through there & grand prairie :( there are barely remnants of the area’s namesake, just bermuda grass and miles and miles of the same suburban cookie cutter homes
Özgün@ilydarth i hate it here its a genuine hellscape blegh
Özgün@ilydarth One is Houston and the other is some small town I never even heard of even doe I lived in Texas my whole life lol
Özgün@ilydarth All west texas. Ala the part no one lives in
Özgün@ilydarth BIG BEND MENTIONED!!!
Özgün@ilydarth yeah the part of "texas" where 5 people live is pretty
Özgün@hbmoment4 big bend is a national park my guy what is ur point
Özgün@ilydarth big bend is closer to mexico than anywhere meaningful in texas thats my point. yes texas has some beautiful natural landscape but the texas you'd ever know by living there is not beautiful by any stretch of the imagination. thats all im saying
Özgün@hbmoment4 i agree what humans have done to the land where most of us live is criminal, no one in power cares at all about preserving natural beauty or native plants/wildlife. i will say though, texas has incredibly beautiful undeveloped land all over :) just gotta get off the interstate
Özgün@ilydarth 100% and that goes for everywhere in the US. which is really why im saying this bc theres just not many places in america where i like the natural landscape less than north/central texas. not to say its necessarily bad i guess. texas is also built up more than most places
Özgün@ilydarth I miss Big Bend. It’s been too long since I last went.
Özgün@ilydarth Why must the south be incredibly gorgeous but chud and murder central
Özgün@ilydarth Big Bend is gorgeous
Özgün@ilydarth I miss this part of it. Every time I visit to see family, I just am in awe of the sky and especially at night with how bright the stars shine.
Özgün@ilydarth Also they let you just build whatever you want, it doesn't get any better than this!
Özgün@ilydarth @coochieslurp i need to go to big bend
Özgün@ilydarth i know right
Özgün@ilydarth Nature is like one of the few redeeming parts of the entire USA and a few decent cities.
Özgün@ilydarth OP is beautifuler.
Özgün@ilydarth Unfortunately they are destroying big bend as we speak
Özgün@ilydarth Finally had the chance to drive out to big bend this year. Emory Peak changed my life and it was insanely gorgeous
Özgün@ilydarth big bend mentioned
Özgün@ilydarth Texas is AWESOME!!!!
Özgün@ilydarth Omg where is that second photo????

Özgün@ilydarth both are true
Özgün@ilydarth I have yet to visit Big Bend and other amazing national parks since theyre all so far away but I think this is lwk my sign to visit them all this is so beautiful
Özgün@ilydarth Most people living here aren’t seeing these places.
Özgün@ilydarth Where's that photo of the river going through the canyon from? Looks absolutely beautiful
