@theapplehub Just to nerf it compared to the duo
OriginalThe new iPad mini still features a 60Hz display despite upgrading to OLED 😬 Apple has once again left out ProMotion, which offers refresh rates of up to 120Hz The new OLED display does bring deeper blacks, up to 1,200 nits of peak HDR brightness, and an optional nano-texture finish

@theapplehub $700 (and even more expensive in other regions) with a 60hz display is absolutely fucking laughable. No one should justify this.

@theapplehub So the oled TV I bought 4 years ago is 120hz. The iPad Apple releases in late 2026 is 60hz? Is their new MacBook oled going to be this shitty?

@theapplehub these unreasonable constant updates feel dry lately. what's going on with apple 🥲

@theapplehub apple giving the ipad mini an OLED screen and capping it at 60hz is like buying a sports car and only driving it in school zones

@theapplehub oled but still 60hz at 699 is such a weird choice. would you even notice it on a screen this small?
Original -
@theapplehub Okay but why the fuck would a tablet need 120Hz?

@theapplehub They have to leave something for next year 👀

@theapplehub I guess I'm keeping my iPad Mini 7, if it had 120hz it would have been a no brainer to upgrade
