@Perfekt_Shawn Nothing in canon confirms it. Love and Thunder never explains the jealousy, and it plays as a gag. But Uru is built to hold enchantments and Groot's arm is literally alive, so 'living handle + enchanted metal = a petty axe' is a fun fan reading."
OriginalRewatching this entrance made me curious about the actual mechanics behind Stormbreaker’s sentience. In Infinity War, it’s forged from raw Uru metal with Groot’s living arm as the handle, but unlike Mjolnir, it was never given Odin’s enchantment. Does Groot’s biology canonically transfer organic consciousness into the weapon, or was that jealous personality in Love and Thunder purely written for comedy?

@Perfekt_Shawn Groot gave Stormbreaker a handle, not a whole personality
