OriginalWhen I see trendy AI tools these days, I don't just install them; I open them up. I want to learn how they work and build my own system. Since I'm always running out of @claudeai tokens, I decided to leave only the important stuff to Claude and handle routine tasks with free AI. Opening up a free AI router with 78k GitHub stars, I first learned how it works. It uses free models first, switches to the next model when limits are reached, shortens text before sending, and even tracks usage. Based on that principle, I started building a small dedicated version suited for our PC and our work. Installing it as-is would be too heavy for my budget laptop to handle haha. I tried summarizing a public post on the first call: it took 1.9 seconds and cost 0. Instead of installing two token-saving tools, I just took their principles and am changing how AI employees read handovers. Instead of reading 65,000 characters all at once, making them look at a map of about 2,000 characters first. Looking forward to seeing how it runs properly
