@LordAddictILP The simple truth is Xbox gamers don’t buy enough games and that’s why they NEED to be multiplatform.

@LordAddictILP Even most of PS5 exclusives haven’t even sold well not to Sony expectations

@LordAddictILP E day being exclusive was the right call but the reason why most Xbox games didn’t sell well on ps5 was that they were decent to good at best and that’s not good enough. Indiana Jones could have sold more but Xbox’s rollout was stupid and Saros was $75 mill vs $500 mill

Sony has 3 times the install base than xbox. Its nonsensical for things to go from PS to xbox. For the porting cost alone they wouldnt recoup on sales. Thsts why square Enix needed a payment and contractual agreement to bring their games over. They experimented once with ff13 going into gamepass, and the interest was low enough that they didnt really bring anything else over for a while until they were back up on stage with xbox with another deal and more games coming over, and all of the pixel remasters going to gamepass. "Few games sold well" did any sell better on the xbox than they did on playstation?

@LordAddictILP saros budget was 4 times smaller then gear of war e day so it doesn't need to as much revenue

@LordAddictILP Kids like you always forget that Sony is selling consoles left and right no matter if people like their decisions or not. Xbox is basicly dead outside the US. Si makes sense to go multiplatform. Especially with gamepass also not working. Reality sucks sometimes

@LordAddictILP The games that mattered sold well…aka Forza. I love gears and bought it on PS BUT it’s an upgrade of a gears game that has already gotten an upgrade. If you wanted to play it you played it already. Starfield was meh when it initially released on Xbox.

@LordAddictILP They’d say the same thing if PlayStation went Multi Plat then to appease to some grifters decided to make Saros exclusive

@LordAddictILP Saros was probably more profitable than Gears E-Day? 🤷🏽‍♂️

@LordAddictILP E-Day is a high-quality game and needed to be exclusive to XBOX - and PC, of course. PS5 users would not have helped boost sales much but would've further hindered XBOX's image turnaround that Asha is working on.

@LordAddictILP forza horizon 6 was very successful. and outsold all the PlayStation exclusives of the year COMBINED. and that was without PlayStations help 😌 rub that factoid in their face

@LordAddictILP There is a Playstation version of E-Day. It's made. Not releasing it wastes money and jeopardizes The Coalition.

@LordAddictILP Saros and Gears aren't the same, like I've said before E Day should have been the acid test for removing day one games from GP to see if people will show up and still buy games.

@LordAddictILP Are you seriously comparing a $500M game to one that cost under $100M? Saros (new IP) has already outsold Gears at the same point in its lifecycle, on a single platform. Gears, an established flagship IP, launched on both Xbox and PC, platforms with 300M+ users

@LordAddictILP The fanboys and the gaming media dont care that games die on the Playstation console. they never say put it on other platforms, because it will hurt the Playstation brand.

@LordAddictILP Exactly Xbox need to rebuild around huge AAA exclusive. Spencer and Bond did so much damage that it will take time for people to regain trust and buy the games and consoles

Saros is a new IP and exclusive to 1 platform 500k sold is good for the type of game it is. Gears is a 2-decade-old franchise with a series of releases and a following on 2 platforms, with PC being the biggest customer/gamer base. So Gears doing 500k with great reviews and marketing means there's something wrong with the brand.

@LordAddictILP You left out the part about their games aren’t selling on their own platform either. And EDay might as well sold zero copies because it will never approach making $500 million back when you are solely relying on bums with no jobs that populate the platform.
