🫂👏🏼 أوناي سيمون ودافيد رايا. احترام.

@FabrizioRomano If the award is "OF THE YEAR" why not actually use year worth of effort as criteria? Absolute fvcking joke

@FabrizioRomano Raya second in the world and still behind Simón for Spain. Fair play to Unai, World Cup winner and all, but for my money there's no better keeper in the Prem right now. COYG

@FabrizioRomano Look at the past 4 seasons between Raya and Simon. There is no way Simon is better than Raya but the Spain coach always has favourism.

@FabrizioRomano No manager in world football is signing Simon over Raya. Simon had nothing to do in the World Cup

An outstanding World Cup campaign should strengthen a goalkeeper's case, not automatically overshadow an entire season of consistent excellence at club level. For me, Raya had done enough to win this award. He deserved far more recognition for the quality and consistency of his performances throughout the season. Simón is a brilliant goalkeeper, but I believe Raya was the more deserving winner. 🧤

@FabrizioRomano It's not fair on raya, complete joke of an award.

@FabrizioRomano It totally shows this is why a lot of Argentina 🇦🇷 players and Spain 🇪🇸 players have been overrated due to the World Cup won by them.....David Raya unopposed next season 💯
